Well here is my last blog concluding basically my whole first year of university.
I feel as though this year has had its ups and downs, and when I say that I mean I feel in some ways I have learnt a lot for example making websites using Dreamweaver and using Photoshop for the first time, however in other modules such as Film Language I feel as though everything that has been taught I already did in college! However, I completely understand that the first year is getting everyone up to the same stage as each other therefore I feel this has been taught well.
My favourite module has defiantly been Production Practice. I learnt production for two years via college before university therefore had a good understanding of what makes a great film and all the post production. This being my favourite module, I have put in all my effort to create four great films during the year and cant wait to get hands on next year throughout the module 'TV Studio'.
I feel as though I have also learnt a lot about myself this year. I now know which direction I would like to go in a career and that would be teaching. I would love to teach at college level teaching Media Studies or Production.
I feel as though I really need to do my upmost best the next two years in order to gain great grades in my degree and also get myself a lot of work experience in via the next two years.
I have enjoyed keeping a blog throughout as I know I can always look back at the work I have produced and it is all in one area. I treat this blog almost like my website and will continue to post blogs throughout the next two years of my course.
