A Less Formal Oscars...

I have recently been nominated for an Avid Award for 'Best Profile Film' for the film I made in University last year called Stand Up. The film was based on one person and a story that he/she could tell in an engaging way. We gained a 1st for this film, therefore I am glad it is up for an award as we put so much time and effort into making it work. Avid is the editing software that we use for our films in uni which I must admit I do find slightly more complicated than using Final Cut Pro in college those many moons ago. (only 3 years but seems like a lifetime)

This is a great thing to put on my CV. I guess the next two years really are about building up a good CV as well as getting a good grade in my degree of course!
